Welcome student teachers to Philadelphia and to student teaching in the School District of Philadelphia! There are a variety of activities and events that will be useful to you as you complete your student teaching experience and begin to apply for a full time teaching position. As part of the Student Teacher Pipeline to the Future, the Ed Fund collaborates with the Office of Human Resources to provide meaningful, useful, and informative sessions for student teachers. Student Teacher Professional Development Institutes

In Fall 2008, the Student Teacher Pipeline to the Future will provide three professional development institutes to support and enhance the professional growth of student teachers:

Student Teacher Forum

In the Fall of 2008 and Spring of 2009, the Student Teacher Pipeline to the Future will co-convene Student Teacher Forums. The Human Resources Office, Principals, and new teachers will present information about what is expected and encouraged during the application process in Philadelphia.
