The model is explained well, and it shows understanding of the mathematics used to do the work. The answers are correct. Comparisons are made and explained when needed. Level 3 Acceptable-The work shows the child's ideas about the investigation. The model is described, and the correct answer is given. The work, of the approach to the work, should be more orderly, but the needed mathematics are done correctly. The model is compared, although the explanation is not as clear as it might be. Level 2 Revision needed-The work may not be complete, or the description is not explained very well. The model does not show an understanding of the math in the investigation, or there are a number of mistakes. The work needs to be redone. Level 1 Restart-The work misses the math in the investigation and must be redone.
