Programs for Educators


Each month, the Philadelphia Education Fund hosts a free STEM Forum for teachers working with students grades K-12. Forums feature a light dinner, professional networking, and three different STEM workshops. Act 48 credits are available.

 The next STEM Teacher Forum is Monday March 20, from 4:30-7pm.

Registration is strongly preferred; walk-ins will be

The STEM Initiatives provide mini-grants to support innovative classroom teaching. If you have an idea for a project but don't have the funds, look for additional information HERE.

Explore STEM Philly

Through generous funding from PECO, STEM professionals will visit your classroom and share content as well as career advice. Students can also participate in free field trips to experience area STEM in action. For more information, go HERE.

STEM Networking Meetings

Each month, the Philadelphia Education Fund hosts a STEM Networking Meeting for classroom teachers, informal science educators, afterschool staff, and anyone interested in innovative STEM education. These meetings feature a light breakfast, introductions and announcements, a peer panel discussion, and professional networking opportunities. PQAS (Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System) credits are available.

The next Networking Meeting will be on Monday, March 27, from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. The Topic is STEM and Gender. For additional details and to register, go HERE.
