  • Meet the new Director of the College Access Program
    Friday, February 10, 2012 - 8:30am - 10:00am

     

    Please join us for hot coffee and breakfast and to meet the Ed Fund's new Director of the College Access Program, Kimberly Stephens.

    This breakfast is a wonderful opportunity to visit a College Access Center, meet the staff and experience the resources that we offer. You will hear about the exciting ways in which we are helping to increase the number of Philadelphians going to college and how we can partner in this effort.

    The College Access Center is located in the Gallery at Market East, 9th and Market Streets. Enter the Gallery from the East side of 9th Street. The closest parking lot is at 44 North 9th Street (between Market and Arch on 9th Street).

  • 2012 Score 4 Scholarships Basketball Tournament
    Sunday, April 15, 2012 - 9:00am - 6:00pm

     

    The 2012 Score 4 Scholarships 5-on-5 Basketball Tournament will be held at the University of Pennsylvania's famous Palestra on April 15, 2012.

    Proceeds from the S4S Tournament will provide college scholarships to Philadelphia public school students in the Philadelphia Scholars Program.

  • 2012 Post-Event Cocktail Reception at Osteria
    Monday, April 16, 2012 - 5:30pm - 7:30pm

    Join us to celebrate the successes of the Score 4 Scholarships tournament, enjoy delectable culinary creations and meet current and past Scholars at Marc Vetri's acclaimed Osteria restaurant. 

    Amidst mixing and minging, we will present trophies to the winning teams and hear touching stories by some of our scholarship recipients. Several of our celebrity coaches will join us at the reception as well.

    Tickets are $75 per person, and include culinary treasures provided by the chefs of Osteria and beverages of your choice.
