2010 was an exciting year for the Philadelphia Scholars Program, as it celebrated its 20thanniversary!
The 2010 Celebration of Scholars took place on Tuesday, June 8th at the Comcast Center. During the evening, guests enjoyed views from atop the Comcast Center while celebrating the successes of the scholarship recipients and honoring the Program’s Early Champions in attendance.
The Philadelphia Scholars Program also received a citation in recognition of its 20th anniversary from the School District of Philadelphia's School Reform Commission. Several Philadelphia Scholars and alumni spoke during the June 16th SRC meeting and expressed their appreciation for the program and its generous supporters.
