The Philadelphia Scholars Program raised over $50,000 during its annual Score 4 Scholarships Basketball Tournament and Soiree at Osteria.
The fourth annual Score 4 Scholarships Basketball Tournament took place on Sunday, April 11th, at The Palestra at the Unversity of Pennsylvania. The tournament featured an "NCAA Style" bracket that included 24 teams divided into three competitive divisions. This year's tournament also featured a H-O-R-S-E competiton.
On Monday, April 12th, guests were invited to celebrate the success of this year's tournament during the Soiree at Osteria. Guests enjoyed remarks from several Philadelphia Scholars alumni as well as Honorable Seth Williams, Philadelphia District Attorney.
