EDDY Awards
For over 26 years, we have been a vital and positive force in the education community, providing critical guidance and leadership to improve schools and raise student achievement. We introduced the EDDYs in 2005 to bring the issues of public education to the community-at-large. All proceeds from the EDDYs support our educational programs that assist underserved children in the region.

Score 4 Scholarships™ Basketball Tournament
The Philadelphia Scholars’ annual Score 4 Scholarships™ Basketball Tournament is held annually at the University of Pennsylvania's famous Palestra gymnasium. It follows an “NCAA Style” bracket and features multiple competitive divisions with up to eight basketball teams in each division. The Score 4 Scholarships™ Tourney offers a unique opportunity for the region’s business and civic communities to come together and support remarkable students, many of whom are the first in their families to attend college.
Sponsorship opportunities for teams of 5-7 players begin at $1,400. All proceeds from this annual event benefit the Philadelphia Scholars program’s "Last Dollar Scholarships" and provide scholarships to students participating in our College Access Program.
